Shameful reply

Chisinau (Moldova.ORG) -- An initiative proceeded from national interests and complying to modern international practices of raising transparency in the political dialogue, in the Republic of Moldova including, failed, because “somebody” does not like civilized practices to be applied in this country too, particularly in political discourses. Thus, the initiative of Vlad Fliat (leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova) to have a duel of political debates with Vladimir Voronin (leader of the Communists’ Party) was refused, which speaks so much by itself, that only the totally ignorant – will not read the “message”, because it is against their petty interests.
The replica that allegedly: „The Communists Party does not have a common agenda with that of the Liberal Democratic Party”, as we can see it on the web-site of the Pro-tv.md, actually means that the Communists Party has essentially different aims compared to those of the Liberal Democratic Party for Moldova. For communists initiating any kind of dialogue and any actions that would highlight more and more real traits and interests of theirs, in terms of comparison with other sound political aspirations, as an eventual Voronin’s participation in a duel with Vlad Filat, might be another blow, and even harder one for the communism as a false ideology, as well as on the “carriers” of this pseudo-ideology in the R.M. No mention about the initiative of removing parliamentary immunity.
The most that would affect the communists is the fact that an eventual duel with the participation of their leader might have a beneficial educational effect on the population of the R.M., whereas they are aware that everything which is good for the population at large – is against their interests. By this rejection the leader of the communists admits his inferiority versus everything which is considered modern, transparent and constructive, and what might imply more lucidity in people way of thinking with regards to „who is who” for the Moldovan people; it would be inconvenient for their “ideology” of degradation.
Voronin’s refusal to take part in the public debates is, actually, a message of rejecting progressive changes in the R.M., and such a refusal means that it is them who are the „architect of decay”, according to a Harold Wilson’s quotation, and reminds us also of some very famous words of the same author: „The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery”. The communists resistance to eventual progressive changes essentially equals with the resistance to reaching a common good, we strive altogether.
