Seven persons sanctioned for damage of electoral stands

As many as seven persons were sanctioned for deliberately damaging the electoral stands, including representatives of the Democratic Liberal Party of Moldova (PLDM), Our Moldovan Alliance (AMN) and the Democratic Social Party (PSD).

Contacted by BASA-press, Nicolae Macovei, the head of the Public Security Direction from the Internal Ministry (MAI), has said that the municipal police registered five cases of damaging the electoral stands in authorized places, which involved members of PLDM, PSD şi AMN.

Another two cases were registered in Edinet district, where a PPCD member was involved, and, respectively, in Orhei district, where AMN representatives were involved.

Since the beginning of the electoral campaign, the police registered 81 cases of illegal electoral posting, which involved 131 people, according to the quoted source. They were filed 122 reports, 78 of which were already examined in court. The total sum of the fines for illegal electoral posting is of 14,700 lei (about 1,013 Euros).
