Russian president invites comments on blog
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is inviting the public to contact him via his Internet blog.
Visitors can now leave him comments on the Kremlin Web site, where Medvedev began a video blog last year, RIA Novosti reported Monday.
I hope that you will be able to say everything you want to say by leaving your comments,
Medvedev said on the site. I will read all of them with great interest.
To leave a comment, visitors must give the Kremlin Web site their name, age, education, e-mail address, and country or region. All comments must be written in Russian and visitors will be banned if they swear or promote discrimination and hatred toward minority groups, RIA Novosti reported.
Further, comments will be edited before publication to avoid mistakes in grammar and spelling, the Kremlin site said.
