Romania, Moldova, Ukraine to implement joint projects worth 130 mil. Euro
The official Bucharest and Chisinau are supposed to agree upon the using of Euro 130 million provided by the European Union for carrying out joint projects by Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, Romanian President Traian Basescu stated before his flight to Chisinau on Wednesday morning.
He explained that until recently, there was actually no possibility to use this money due to the known position of the previous Moldovan leadership's.
But now, he said, Moldova's striving for the European Union has become apparent. This visit has been arranged for completing bilateral negotiations on 12 agreements, and the parties are resolutely going to take necessary measures to modernize Moldova so as to help it achieve the development level of the Western Balkans.
