PLDM suspects Moldovan police of political partisanship
Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) announces about a case held in the night from 18 to 19 July, when seven unknown people attacked a truck full of special equipment for PLDM’s action that had to be held the next day for snap elections on 29 July, referring to the public presentation of evidence regarding the falsification of elections from 5 April, DECA-press informs.
„Only the police knew where that truck and our team members responsible for this action stopped. Either the police revealed all the information, or they attacked the truck”, the PLDM leader, Vlad Filat, declared on Monday at a press conference.
He asserts that unknown persons managed to break the windscreen of the car and they ran when they saw that the truck was watched by PLDM members.
„They left at that place bottles with explosive material. This proves that they intended to give fire to the truck”, PLDM leader said.
