PLDM intends to put the leader of PDM to trial

The vice-president of the Liberal Democratic Party from Moldova (PLDM), Iurie Tap, announced on Wednesday, in time of a press conference that the political faction he represents intends to put the leader of the Democratic Party from Moldova (PDM), Dumitru Diacov, to trial for “the defamation declarations”, DECA-press Agency transmits.

As Tap said, “a dirty campaign” has been started against PLDM. He referred to the stenograph of a sitting from the Parliament, where Dumitru Diacov called PLDM “a party of betrayers”. Dumitru Diacov is also accused of the fact that he had defamed several members of PLDM, who were members of other political factions too.

PLDM will ask Diacov to take his words back. The vice-president of PLDM didn’t specify if Iurie Rosca, and Stefan Secareanu, will be also put to trial.

The leader of PDM, Dumitru Diacov, declared for DECA-press that he doesn’t consider his declaration as defamation and that he doesn’t even intend to apologize for that.
We remind you that, last week, PPCD accused the leader of PLDM, Vlad Filat, of corruption. At that moment, Vlad Filat declared that these accusations were groundless. // DECA-Press
