Parliamentary elections set for April 5
The legislative elections will be held on April 5. The date of elections was unanimously approved by the MPs on Monday, at the first plenary sitting of the spring session.
The election campaign for the legislative elections opens on February 4. Under the Election Code, the election campaign lasts for 60 days.
From February 4, the political parties can submit the documents and applications for being registered as election runners to the Central Election Commission. The candidates can file applications at the latest 30 days before the elections. They can start the election campaign only after the Commission registers them.
