Over 65,000 Moldovans vote abroad


As many as 65,200 Moldovans exercised their right to vote at the 75 polling stations opened abroad. Of them 919 voted on A4 sheets, because of lack of ballot papers.

The CEC secretary Iurie Ciocan said most data from the polling stations opened abroad had been received by 11:00 online.

According to these preliminary data, 31,965 Moldovans cast their ballots for the Liberal Democratic Party, 16,229 for the Liberal Party, 5,693 for the Democratic Party and 4,351 for the Party of Communists.
