Opinion poll in Moldova: Communists and Voronin - favorites
Four political parties would join the Legislative if the next Sunday anticipated elections were organized, the results of a Public Opinion Barometer opinion poll conducted by the Public Policy Institute on Wednesday, DECA-press Agency informs.
The data of the poll show that the Republic of Moldova Party of Communists would get 29,4% of votes, Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova – 19,1%. The Democratic Party would get 9,1 percent and the Liberal Party – 8,2%. Our Moldova Alliance that is currently a party represented in the Parliament would not join the Legislative Party for it will get only 2,4%.
The same poll also shows that most electors - 25,1% - would elect Vladimir Voronin as president if direct presidential elections were organized. The leader of the communists is followed by Marian Lupu (PD) with 20,4%, Vlad Filat (PLDM) – 18,3% and Dorin Chirtoaca (PL) with 5,3%.
The Public Opinion Barometer was made during April 24 – May 14, with the contribution of 1115 respondents from 75 settlements.
