One more Communist left the party
The deputy Ion Ceban announced during the Parliament’s session that he is leaving the Party of Communists. He joined the “socialist group” of the Parliament, which is not yet established into a parliamentary group.
Ion Ceban didn’t explain his decision and refused to provide details to journalists. On the other hand, the Socialists encouraged other Communist MPs to follow Ceban’s decision. Igor Dodon said that other Communists will leave the party in the near future.
“The decision is related to the breakage course of the Party of Communists and its influence in Moldova. The socialist group has one more deputy. We are four and we need one more MP to achieve our first objective – the creation of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party”, Igor Dodon stated.
Ion Ceban was known as one of the forwards of the Party of Communists. He actively participated at all protests organized by Communists.
Las ones who left the Party of Communists are Vadim Mishin, Tatiana Botnariuc and Oleg Babenco. Last year Igor Dodon, Veronica Abramciuc and Zinaida Greceanii left the party.
Currently, the parliamentary group of the Party of Communists is formed of 36 MPs.
