New Cabinet of Ministers in Moldova takes shape
The representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPM) will be heading 5 of Moldova's 16 ministries, the AEI candidate for premiership, LDPM Chairman Vlad Filat stated on the ProTV-Chisinau channel last night.
He announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will be headed by Iurie Leanca, Ministry of Finance - by Veaceslav Negruta, Ministry of Justice - Alexandru Tanase, and the Ministry of Health - by Vladimir Hotineanu, but said nothing about the 5th Ministry - of the Interior.
"This will be a coalitional governing, but ultimate responsibility will be on prime minister. Therefore, it is only natural that key ministries should be headed by people who have undertaken the governing", Filat stressed.
He said the personal list of the would-be government has been fully prepared, adding that ministerial posts have been offered exclusively to highly competent specialists with high moral qualities.
Next Thursday morning, he will submit to parliament the personal list and the Government's work program, and on Friday the Parliament will approve him on that post. The new Cabinet will be sworn into office straightaway, and will embark on regular work without delay, Vlad Filat said.
The Liberal Party (PL) will nominate leadership of four ministries in the future Government – the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Youth and Sport, and the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure.
