Moldovan MPs approve numerical composition of parliamentary commissions
The parliament has approved the numerical composition of the parliamentary commissions. The new legislative body will be made up of ten commissions, by one more than the former parliament.
Under the decision approved , the parliament will have the following commissions: the juridical commission for rules and immunities, made up of 12 members; the commission for economy, budget and finances (12 members); the commission for national security, defence and public order (10 members); the commission for foreign policy and European integration (10 members); the commission for human rights and interethnic relations (8 members); the commission for public administration and regional development (8 members); the commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and media (12 members); the commission for agriculture and food industry (10 members); the commission for social protection, health and family (11 members); the commission for environment and climate changes (7 members).
The parliamentary factions will nominate their candidates for the commissions at the next parliament meeting due on 12 January. Also today, the MPs approved the composition of the parliament's Permanent Bureau by majority vote.
