Moldovan leader unveils two confidential decrees signed by former president

Acting President Mihai Ghimpu has unveiled two confidential decrees signed by former President Vladimir Voronin to award the Stefan cel Mare Order to Russian officials, the presidential press service has said.

Under the resolution No 383-ss by acting President Mihai Ghimpu from 19 October 2010, the decrees by ex-President Vladimir Voronin from 11 December 2001 and 5 June 2003 entered the public domain. The Stefan cel Mare Order was given to army General Nikolay Patrushev, Major General Vyacheslav Ushakov and the former direct of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Lebedev, according to the decrees.
