Moldovan Justice Minister on the dismissal of the Supreme court's chairman
Chișinău / Moldova.ORG/ -- Moldovan Justice Minister, Oleg Efrim, argues that information and that he would have voted against the Supreme Court's chairman dismissal was launched in order to denigrate his image.
"I do not know who started these rumors and what was intended by them. Perhaps this falls into a corresponding series of attacks.
Confirming my vote is the way my colleagues voted today in Parliament", Oleg Efrim said to Jurnal TV.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Justice did not want to reveal how the voted, noting that he did not want to violate the vote secrecy.
"Maybe some of my questions in the council made my colleagues believe that I have voted one way or another. I had some questions that were normal to ask", Efrim declared.
However, he said that the decision of Muruianu's dismissal from the Supreme Court's chairman is fair.
We mention that, according to "Timpul" magazine, 8 of 12 members voted for the chairman's dismissal.
Sources revealed, on condition of anonymity, that the Justice Minister would have voted against his dismissal.
