Moldovan foreign service made public names of first ambassadors nominated by coalition government

Six of the fourteen candidates to the position of ambassador appointed by the Moldovan authorities

Six of the fourteen candidates to the position of ambassador appointed by the Moldovan authorities have already received the consent of the countries of accreditation.

They are Iurie Renita to Romania, Oleg Serebrian to France, Stefan Gorda to the Czech Republic, Anatol Urecheanu to the People’s Republic of China, Aurel Ciocoi to the Federal Republic of Germany and Valeriu Chiveri to Austria, OSCE, specialized UN Agencies in Vienna, Slovakia by plurality of offices.

According to the procedure in force, the candidates to the position of ambassador are heard by the Standing Committee for Foreign Policy and European Integration, are approved by the Government, and appointed to the position by the head of state.
