Moldovan deputy premier Victor Osipov on working visit to USA
Deputy Prime Minister Victor Osipov is on a working visit to the United States, accompanied by a delegation of the Bureau for Reintegration, the government's press service has said.
The visit's main goal is to promote bilateral dialogue with the USA and to hold consultations on the Transnistrian conflict settlement process with American partners.
In Washington, the Moldovan official will meet representatives of the US Department of State, Department of Defence, National Security Council and the Office of the US Vice President. Also, the Moldovan deputy prime minister will have discussions with lawmakers of the US Congress' Senate and House of Representatives.
Victor Osipov will deliver two speeches at the US Centre for Strategic and International Studies, at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and will give an interview to the Voice of America agency.
On 3 May evening, the deputy prime minister will meet representatives of the Moldovan diaspora from Washington.
