Moldova wants to gain NATO’s support
Moldovan Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Popov visited NATO Headquarters on February 13. He met with Dirk Brengelmann, the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy.
Likewise, Andrei Popov participated at a meeting with the Committee of Permanent Representatives talking about the progresses registered by the Republic of Moldova regarding the enactment of the Individual Partnership Action Plan NATO-Moldova. The officials also talked about Moldova’s current political perspective, the priorities of its foreign policy, as well as the perspectives of an efficient conflict management in Transnistria.
During talks, several ways to get assistance from NATO were examined. The aid is designed support the continuation of the reforms already initiated.
