Moldova to print more ballot papers for 29 July election
A total of 2,683,553 ballot papers will be printed for the 29 July early election in Moldova, or 56,000 more than for the 5 April parliamentary election, the Moldovan Infotag news agency reported on 22 July, quoting the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Eugen Stirbu.
The CEC has accredited 2,374 local and 122 international observers to monitor the election.
It was called after lawmakers failed to elect president.
