Moldova to open an embassy in Canada and Japan in the near future
Republic of Moldova might open two new embassies in the following years. The Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat asked the Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca to draft a concept regarding the development of the diplomatic missions’ network. That means that Moldova is considering opening in the future an embassy in Canada and Japan.
According to Vlad Filat, an efficient foreign policy requires investments and efforts, “but they will bring advantages to the citizens of our country.”
Moldova has 32 diplomatic missions abroad (embassies and consulates).
