Moldova, EU sign technical assistance memorandum
On Sept. 30, Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat concluded his working visit to Brussels. During two days, the prime minister met representatives of the European institutions and received moral support of European officials and lawmakers. On Wednesday, during a meeting with EU Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the sides signed a memorandum of technical assistance due to be used to reorganize the state apparatus and reform penitentiary institutions.
