Liberal Party members are upset with the President, Nicolae Timofti, and threaten him with dismissal if the President would insist on the candidature of Vlad Filat for the Prime Minister. Liberal Party’s leader, Mihai Ghimpu, being invited at the public broadcasting channel Moldova 1, declared that the Liberal Party would ally with the Communists or other party for the vote of no-confidence to President Timofti.

"If the President insists on the candidature of Vlad Filat, lengthens and deepens the crisis, which is to the detriment of us and alienates us from the European Union, he should take the responsibility. We would submit no-confidence vote and vote with the Communists. In this case I will use all means in order to protect my people and the state. It would be no-confidence vote for his belonging to a political party, but not to the people. I would not look or forgive, I would vote with anyone. I don’t want to get to it and I hope that the President is aware of what is happening", Liberal Party leader, Mihai Ghimpu specified.

He also added that Vlad Filat has no moral right to insist on holding again the position of Prime Minister because he lost the public confidence. "You can not insist on the position of Prime Minister after receiving a no-confidence vote. Vlad Filat defaced Republic of Moldova’s image”, Mihai Ghimpu affirmed.
