Lowest voter turnout registered in Moldova's capital by 13:00
Moldova's capital residents seem to be the least eager to go to the polls of all the country's populated areas, with only 9.74 per cent of Chisinau voters having participated in the 28 November parliamentary election by 13:00.
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has said that the highest voter turnout was reported in the city's Buiucani district, where 21.96 voters cast their ballots by 13:00.
As many as 17.23 per cent of voters went to the polls in Botanica district and 20.44 per cent in Centru district. Data from other sectors of the city had not been processed.
CEC secretary Iurie Ciocan said that data from the polling stations from abroad had not been gathered yet.
