Russia influences the political and economic situation in Moldova and Ukraine to obtain the federalization of these two states, writes Kyiv newspaper “Day”, which is led by Larisa Ivshina , the wife of former Minister of Defense and State Security of Ukraine, Yevgeny Marchuk, former adviser of the President Viktor Yushchenko, announces the Romanian newspaper Cotidianul.

“If the federalization of Moldova will succeed, it will pave the way for using this model in Ukraine. Therefore, both Chisinau and Kiev will be more easily influenced. The main idea is to undermine the territorial integrity by making closer to Moscow some regions. In other words, don’t buy the whole country, but only some regions. As they say, it is cheap but good”, writes the Ukrainian newspaper, quoted by Noviy Region.

“We shouldn’t underestimate the power of Moscow’s new policy. The main thing is that under the guise of democracy and federalism, it will lead to Ukraine’s and Moldova’s statehood destruction. Moscow’s activity in Transnistria is not good for our country”, writes Kyiv newspaper.
