In Pakistan, female suicide bombers are on a par with male terrorists
Elena Vnorovscaia / Chişinău / Moldova.ORG / -- As it became known after yesterday's terrorist attack in Pakistan, the militant group 'Tehreek-e Taliban-e Pakistan "(Pakistan Taliban movement) used women as a suicide bomber for the first time for their criminal activities.
The suicide attack took place in the north-west of the country, in Dera Ismail Khan, and killed 10 people.
Police investigators found out that the woman was involved in an attack on a police station. Female suicide bomber and her husband threw grenades and sprayed machine gun fire inside the police station in Pakistan before both blew themselves up.
In his official statement, the spokesman of the Taliban in Pakistan, Ahsanullah Ahsan, said: "The fact that the terrorist act used a woman shows how much they hate Pakistani security forces".
This is not the first mention in the media about female suicide bomber in Pakistan, but this time it was the first one when "Taliban" confirmed that they used a woman for their "holy war".
