Ghimpu does not attend at the OSCE summit, because he is tired of non-result discussions


Chisinau (Moldov.ORG)--The interim-president if Moldova Mihai Ghimpu declared officially today on the 1-st of December that he does not wish to attend the activities of the OSCE summit in Astana. Mr. Ghimpu declared that he will not attend the summit because the question concerning the retreat of the Russian troops from Transnistria is not included in the agenda of the summit. Also the interim-president declared that :19 years the Russian troops do not retreat, and we only speak with no sense.

At the Astana summit are present the vice-premier for reintegration, Victor Osipov and the vice-minister of exterior Andrei Popov.

At the moment Mr. Osipov mentioned the position of Moldova that the Russian part has to retreat it's armed forces according to the Istanbul agreement and the existing international regulations.

Earlier ambiguous declarations were made by the Russian authorities, the actual President of Russia Mr. Medvedev mentioned that the Transnistria problem will be discussed after the parliamentary elections in Moldova, while the minister of exterior, Serghei Lavrov mentioned that the armed forces will not be retreated from Transnistria.
