German doctors confirm: Mubarak has cancer
By Larisa Muntean/ Chişinău / Moldova.ORG/ --After they have done blood tests and other tests, doctors have found an early stage of cancer, which "advancing very slowly."
A team of German doctors examined the Egyptian leader former, Hosni Mubarak, and confirmed that he has cancer.
Last week, a family lawyer said that the former president Mubarak suffer from stomach cancer, but Egyptian authorities did not confirm this information.
One of the German doctors, who controlled Mubarak, operated on former President last year in Germany. In 2010, the doctor Markus Wolfgang Buchler removed part of Mubarak pancreas and the small intestine.
Mubarak is on trial for the deaths of hundreds of protesters during the riots of 18 days in February 2011, which led to his removal from power. He is accused of abuse of power, including gas exports to Israel at a low price in a secret agreement which would cost 714 million dollars.
Mubarak is in custody at a hospital in Sharm el-Sheikh, and is being treated for heart problems. His transfer from hospital to a prison in Cairo was postponed repeatedly because of health.
