Gaddafi sends a female army to fight NATO

Female soldiers

Elena Vnorovscaia / Chişinău / Moldova.ORG / -- The Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is not going to surrender and threatens Europe with a new weapon. Military "novelty" with which Libyan leader opposes NATO is an army, consisted of women.

The training facility for women is located in Beni Walid in the north-west, near Tripoli.

Women from in and around Gadhafi's stronghold of Tripoli have been traveling south to practice with weapons. As a matter of fact Libya is a country where young girls receive military training in schools.

At the training facility in Bani Walid, women are training to "defend Moammar and the country," said Sgt. Faraj Ramadan, a woman who is training other women to properly handle weapons.

"They train to use it, assemble it and take it apart, and to shoot," she told CNN recently. "They were trained and got excellent scores."

The women are very interested in being on a par with men, even if it is about to take part in hostilities.

Proving this fact, one of the women, 40-year-old Fatima Masoud, said that for the sake of exercising in this training facility she left her textile job every day at 4 p.m. to go by train to the military facility.

"I liked training and defending my country, and now I'm am training women from all ages to use weapons,” said Fatima.

A woman, who did not want to be identified, fresh from the frontlines, attended the graduation. She was still wearing a cannula in her wrist.

"Do not underestimate any woman in Libya, whether old or young," the woman warned. "The woman is still able to perform more than you think."

It is currently unknown how many representatives of female sex are trained in the military camps and facilities and how many had graduated from the program at Bani Walid, but it is not a secret that they are already fighting for Gaddafi, alongside government forces.
