Gabriel Stati urges the youth to vote for democratic forces
Gabriel Stati, Chairman of the international Youth Movement, President of the Federation of International Combat Arts Voievod, and the son of Moldova’s richest man Anatol Stati, has called upon the Moldovan youth to vote for democratic parties on April 5.
In an address to young compatriots, he expressed his profound concern about the current situation in Moldova, particularly the conditions the country’s young generation is in.
“The road Moldova has been going lately is a wrong way. So, if we want our country to be really democratic and free, the way we will vote next Sunday will be of key importance because we are getting a chance to make a choice that will tell crucially on the destiny of our country in 2009-2013”, presumes Gabriel Stati.
He called upon the youth to vote for changes in the nation’s life.
“Your participation in the polls will be not just a will expression. This will be your moral duty before the country and its future. I am calling on you to vote for democratic parties having chances to get to the next Parliament and whose electoral platforms coincide with Moldova’s development ideals”, the address said.
