French official visit Chisinau to discuss France-Moldova relation
France's State Secretary for European Affairs Pierre Lellouche has arrived in Chisinau on Wednesday evening to hold a number of meetings with the new Moldovan authorities and to discuss further development of the bilateral Moldo-French relations.
Already on Wednesday night he is scheduled to meet with Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat and Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca.
On Thursday, the high guest will have meetings with Moldova's Acting President, Parliament Chairman Mihai Ghimpu, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Issues Victor Osipov, and Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta.
The only member of the Moldovan Parliament who has received a chance to meet with the French State Minister is the ruling Alliance for European Integration's candidate for the Moldova presidency, Democratic Party Chairman Marian Lupu.
Pierre Lellouche will attend the inauguration of the French Business Club in Chisinau, and will meet with the French community in Moldova.
