Exit-poll shows Moldovan Communists to have 29 MP mandates, other three parties 72
Data of an exit poll carried out by the Romanian Institute for Evaluation and Strategy (IRES), at the order of the Publika TV channel, have showed that the Party of Communists (PCRM) would get 29 seats in the new parliament, Democratic Party (PD) 17, Liberal Party (PL) 18 and the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) 37 mandates.
Under the IRES data, 34.4 per cent of the voters cast their ballots for the PLDM, 26 per cent voted for the PCRM.
The PL and the PD have almost an equal number of votes, 15.6 per cent and 15.1 per cent respectively.
Earlier, many politicians have displayed skepticism about the results of opinion polls and exit polls.
