Czechs ask health certificates for visa applicants from Moldova
Czech visa applicants from Kenya, Moldova, Ukraine, Vietnam and some other countries will have to present health certificates that they do not suffer from tuberculosis and syphilis and that they are not HIV positive, Foreign Minister Jan Kohout told journalists on June 1.
Czech diplomacy consulted the measure with the foreigner police and the sanitary authorities, Kohout said.
The measure is to increase the protection of people's health in the Czech Republic, he said.
It will also concern the citizens of Congo, Mongolia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
