Croatia will become the 28th member of the European Union by July 1, 2013
By Larisa Muntean/ Chişinău / Moldova.ORG/ --EU leaders reached an understanding that regards the completion of negotiations with Croatia on joining EU.
ITAR-TASS reported in reference to the European diplomatic source which provided information to opening in June 23, in the Belgian capital's an anti-crisis summit.
"There is a mutual understanding on the completion of negotiations on Croatia", - said the diplomat.
This means that the negotiation process will be completed before the end of June to the end of this year, will sign an agreement on the admission of Croatia into the EU, and to July 1, 2013 all 27 countries of the community must to complete the ratification.
After the official announcement of the decision on Croatia's EU summit the rest of the procedure is automatic.
While there is uncertainty only about the requirement of Paris on the introduction of a monitoring mechanism to Croatia, which will track, in particular, the course of the struggle of this country from corruption.
