Chișinău is ready for Biden (PHOTO)
Chișinău / Moldova.ORG/ -- After days of preparations and waiting, today, 11 March 2011, the American vice president Joe Biden is going to deliver a speech in the center of the capital city which has changed considerably due to this occasion.
All the streets are clean and the main boulevard of the capital – Stefan cel Mare is embellished with Moldovan and American flags. Everything around is beautiful and the city seems to have an important celebration. Even the weather is warm and sunny.
Even though the streets are full of policemen and security workers, there are hundreds or maybe thousands of people, mostly students who are waiting for Joe Biden’s speech. Some of them aren’t informed by his visit and came out just to see what’s going on.
The city is extremely beautiful and people say they didn’t see it so clean for years. It seems that Chisinau is prepared for Biden. Is Moldova?
