CEC reported data on 97,62% processed records

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has reported on the data of the 97,62% processed records submitted by the polling offices throughout Moldova, In line with the CEC’s estimations PCRM harvested 50,00 % which is - 753911 of votes. According to the CEC president Eugeniu Știrbu, in line with the processed data PL got 12,75% (192192 votes), PLDM - 12,26% (184783) and AMN gathered 9,82% (148009 votes).

PSD (3.71%), PPCD (3.02%), PD (2.97%), UCM (2.76%) failed to cross the electoral threshold. The other parties got less than 1% of votes in line with the number of processed records. Stirbu mentioned that no contestations have so far been submitted which would stipulate serious violations.

The CEC is going to report on the final data after processing the records from the 33 voting sections within Moldova’s diplomatic missions abroad, as well as the 14 polling stations throughout Moldova.

The CEC is also going to draw up the summing up minutes of the results of the parliamentary polls during five days. Following which, the CEC is going to submit all the necessary electoral documents to the Constitutional Court, which will validate the mandates of MPs during ten days.
