Angela Sarbu - the new director of the Public TV channel Moldova1
On Saturday, February 20, the Observers’ Council of the Public Company „Teleradio-Moldova” elected Angela Sarbu as director of the TV channel „Moldova 1”.
As DECA-press informs, six of new members of the Observers’ Council voted for Angela Sarbu in the second round of elections.
The new director of the TV channel „Moldova” said a priority in his activity will be news bulletins and debate programs.
“The changes on the public TV channel will be seen in the first few months”, Angela Sarbu said after his election as director. He specified “he will involve experts and journalists from abroad in the development of new concepts and programs”.
In the intentional project on the development strategy of the TV channel, presented in the competition, Angela Sarbu asserts she intends to change “Moldova 1” into a more dynamic, more attractive, more relevant and more useful to the public.
Angela Sarbu of 36 years old was the director of the Independent Journalism Center of Moldova in the last ten years. She is the graduate of the Faculty of Journalism of the State University. She had her master’s degree in Economical and political studies in the Czech Republic.
There were 12 candidates for director of TV „Moldova 1”. Three of them withdrew from the competition.
