…and are not ruling out possible actions of protest

The Liberal Party, the Liberal Democratic Party and the Moldova Noastra Alliance have stated readiness to bring masses out into streets, if only facts of election result rigging are revealed.

LDPM leader Vlad Filat stated on the ProTV-Chisinau channel last night his party had reserved the city’s central square for next two weeks to hold such possible actions.

“We are not revolutionaries or professional strikers, and all the large-scale rallies organized heretofore pursued an objective of showing voters they should not be afraid or reconcile to violation of their rights. He have reserved the square not for our party but for citizens who might need to express protest against possible falsification of election returns”, Filat said.

LP Deputy Chairman Dorin Chirtoaca presumes it is somewhat premature to speak about protesting, for it is necessary to receive and analyze observers’ reports first. He presumes it is by far more important for the three parliamentary opposition parties to tune their positions.

And MNA leader Serafim Urechean stated his party is “ready to come out into the central square and remain there until an early election”.
