A new incident with peacekeepers in Transnistria

An inhabitant from Molovata Noua, a veteran of the war on Nistru, was assaulted yesterday, January 23, around 7:00 PM (local time) by a peacekeeper from the town, informs Moldova’s Publika TV.

According to the source, Ioan Pahomi was attacked without a reason by the peacekeeper.

“He began to scream, bended over my arms and sat me with my head of the ground. He headed his gun toward my head and told me that if I say one more word, he will blow out my brains. What could I say?” the victim told Publika TV.

After the incident, Ioan Pahomi went to the local town hall to ask for help. Over 100 people came there to support the man. Valeriu Sandu, the mayor of the town said that there are a lot of such incidents in the town.

At the beginning of the year, on January 1, an inhabitant of Parata town was fatally shot by a Russian peacekeeper because the man did not want to stop at his warning.

We will come up with more details.
